Meridian is engineered around the 150 × 150 mm post — the architectural threshold where the structure stops being a backyard cover and starts being part of the home. The 200 × 130 mm beam with integrated 3.0 mm-wall gutter spans further between posts than entry-tier pergolas, which is why a Meridian over a pool deck reads as one continuous outdoor room rather than a forest of supports. The 0–110° louver rotation gives you flat-shade through ventilation through wide-open sky in a single motorized arc.
Dual-cavity post — the patented safety architecture
The Meridian post is internally divided into two cavities: one channels rainwater from the beam-gutter system down to a concealed ground outlet, the other carries the low-voltage 24V wiring loom for louvers, lighting, sensors, and motorized accessories. Water and electricity never share a chamber — a patented safety architecture that kit pergolas cannot match. Aircraft-grade waterproof cable connectors are used at every junction.

Meridian is heavy-duty aluminum construction engineered for Gulf Coast conditions across the Houston metro. We install it across Katy, Cinco Ranch, The Woodlands, Sugar Land, Cypress, Pearland, Memorial, River Oaks, Bellaire, West University, and the affluent inland neighborhoods. Every install includes drilled concrete piers sized to the local clay-soil report, engineered base plates, and the full permit and inspection package. For coastal homes east of Highway 146 we recommend stepping up to Atrium for the heavier 3.0 mm-wall post — ask us about engineering documentation for your specific address.
