Pocket Glass Door Installation Guide
Every pocket glass door system we supply includes a comprehensive installation guide. Below is an overview of our four-phase installation process — from frame assembly to final sealing and adjustment.
Download Full Installation Guide (PDF)Frame Assembly
The outer frame is pre-assembled using the upper track, bottom track, and vertical frame material. Corner brackets are secured, ensuring all joints are square and flush before the frame is moved to the opening.
- Upper track + vertical frame joined at 90°
- Bottom track secured with corner anchors
- Frame squareness verified with diagonal measurement
- All hardware pre-fitted before installation

Outer Frame Installation
The assembled frame is set into the prepared rough opening. Shims are used to plumb and level the frame. Anchor bolts are installed through the vertical frame members into the structural framing at recommended intervals.
- Frame centered in rough opening
- Plumb and level confirmed on all four sides
- Anchor bolts tightened — frame locked in position
- Gap between frame and opening sealed with foam backer

Panel & Hardware Installation
Glass panels are lifted onto the upper track first, then set onto the bottom track rollers. Roller height is adjusted until each panel glides smoothly. Flush-pull handles and multi-point locks are installed and aligned.
- Panels hung from concealed upper track rollers
- Bottom guide adjusted for smooth operation
- Multi-point locking mechanism aligned and tested
- Weatherstripping and end seals fitted

Sealing & Final Adjustments
Interior and exterior perimeters are caulked and sealed. Panels are tested for smooth operation, proper closure, and lock engagement. A final alignment check ensures even gaps around all panels.
- Exterior perimeter caulked with weather-grade sealant
- Interior trim and reveal covers fitted
- All panels tested for smooth operation
- Lock function and weatherseal contact verified
Installation Complete
Final sealing, trim, and panel alignment are verified before handover.
